Through its Youth Equipment for Sports Safety (YESS) Program, the Taylor Haugen Foundation continued its effort to educate and outfit student athletes with the latest sports safety equipment. In 2013, the YESS Program outfitted over 800 student football players with EvoShield protective rib shirts and also outfitted 2 baseball teams in Birmingham, Alabama with new protective gear. It already looks like 2014 will easily surpass this year in total athletes outfitted with requests coming in from teams as far away as Arizona.
