Chair of the Board

Dr. Justin Turner is a Chiropractic Physician and the owner of Spine Life Chiropractic, with locations in Niceville and Crestview. Committed to improving the health and wellness of his community, Dr. Turner combines professional expertise with compassionate care. He and his wife Tiffany are proud parents of two boys, balancing family life with his dedication to patient care and community service.

Kellie Brock

Board Member

Kellie is a nationally certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Board of Nursing. She earned her BSN in 2008 and brings over 15 years of nursing experience across critical care, dialysis, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC), sharing her expertise and passion with the next generation of nurses.
Kellie is also a proud mother of twin boys, actively volunteering in her sons’ sports and community activities. Her combination of professional excellence, leadership, and community involvement exemplifies her commitment to service both in healthcare and beyond.

Cindy Gates is the Executive Director of the Okaloosa Public Schools Foundation and a distinguished educator with decades of experience in public education. She has served as a teacher, counselor, district-level specialist, and assistant principal, and was the Principal of Choctawhatchee High School for 14 years. Her leadership and dedication to students and schools have left a lasting impact on the community.

Jeff Jourdan is a seasoned real estate professional with The Jourdan Team Realtors at Corcoran Reverie and a dynamic emcee and auctioneer for events and fundraisers throughout the community. As a past chair, he brings leadership, energy, and a commitment to giving back. Outside of work and events, Jeff stays busy keeping up with his four children alongside his wife, balancing family life with his passion for service and community involvement.

Terry Pilcher

Board Member

Terry Pilcher, a lifelong Walton County resident, is the Broker/Owner of Merrifield & Pilcher Realty in DeFuniak Springs and a dedicated community leader. He has held leadership roles including President of the Florida Rural Electric Cooperative, Past President of the Northwest Florida All Sports Association, and Honorary Commander of the 7th Special Forces Group at Duke Field.
Terry’s civic and professional impact spans real estate, education, and youth development, with past service on local boards and charitable initiatives. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Troy University and completed the Leadership and Administration Program at the University of West Florida, blending expertise with a lifelong commitment to his community.

Kelly Taylor is a Registered Dental Hygienist passionate about bringing preventive dental care to children who need it most. Through school-based outreach programs, she provides essential dental services and education to underserved communities, helping children develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. Her work combines professional expertise with a commitment to making a meaningful difference in young lives.

Ashley Sallee

Community Development

Ashley is a Niceville native, the wife of a lieutenant at a local fire department, and a mom to three active boys who love and play all sports. Having three boys of her own, Ashley knew when she was offered the Director of Programs & Community Development position in 2023 that this was where she could make a meaningful impact in her community by continuing to share Taylor’s story and educate others. She is actively involved in all parts of the Foundation, including initiatives, events, and community outreach, helping advance the mission to better protect youth athletes from abdominal injuries.
