More than 120 golfers “teed” off for the Blue Marlin Reality Group’s second annual charity golf tournament, which benefitted the Taylor Haugen Foundation. With the help of a number of community sponsors, the tournament raised $15,087 for the Foundation. Jerry Sullivan and Jonathan Hughes, co-owners and brokers of Blue Marlin Reality Group are pleased with the success of the tournament and the continued community support of the Taylor Haugen Foundation. “Our goal for the golf tournament was to make a difference in the local community,” said Jerry Sullivan. Great golf, combined with beautiful weather, fantastic raffle and silent auction items, a clubhouse awards party and an after party contributed to the celebration. “We really felt like the Blue Marlin team, the golfers, and the sponsors, were celebrating the work of the foundation and the YESS program’s accomplishments this year,” concluded Kathy Haugen, who also serves as Executive Director of the Foundation.

The golf tournament caps off an exceptional year for the Taylor Haugen Foundation and the YESS Program. “This money will be used to continue to outfit, equip, and protect high school and middle school athletes next football season,” said Brian Haugen. “We can’t wait to bring the Blue Marlin Reality Group team with us when we equip local teams next year. It’s an amazing experience, and an opportunity to see how the Foundation and the YESS program puts their generosity to work.”
